2023:Minister of Labour and Employment, Ngige Indicates On Contesting For President

The Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr Chris Ngige, has said he reserves the right to contest for Senate or presidency in 2023.
Ngige made the remark while dismissing reports that he was interested in contesting for the Anambra governorship election billed for next year.
Ngige, who was a former one term governor of the state, in any case, pronounced that he has no enthusiasm for turning out to be senator since he’s on a national task as Minister.

Ngige stated: “Truly, there have been hypotheses that I am peering toward the governorship of Anambra State. They have expounded on it in a great deal of media. I am a lawmaker. They reserve the privilege to conjecture on my best course of action. My best course of action is exceptionally immense.
“Decisions will come in 2023, I reserve a privilege to strive for any position. I can strive for Senate.

“I can compete for president in the event that I so wish. Political race will be coming in Anambra State, most recent November 2021 to choose a replacement to Obiano. I am not excluded. I reserve an option to state I can run.

“I don’t have enthusiasm for the time being in Anambra governorship since I am on a national task.”
He spoke in his hometown of Alor, Idemili South Local Government Area of Anambra State, on Sunday.
