Jubilations In Ogbo Ogwu Onitsha As Market Boss Holds a 4 Day Free Medical Outreach For Traders

Due to the high cost of health care delivery accross the nation, many people experiences poverty and unable to afford the competent medical care, which frequently results in death, over 700 traders has benefited from the free medical outreach.
In light of this, The Executive Leader of Ogbogwu Mr Chukwulota Ndubuisi , and his Caretaker Committee members have organized a 4 Days Free Medical Outreach in for traders in Ogbo-Ogwu, to give them a new lease of life
It was gathered that the medical outreach was sponsored and sinlgle handedly by Mr. Chukwulota Ndubisi , the Chairman of Ogbo-Ogwu Market in order to reduce some certain illness that lead to sudden death among traders in the market.
Speaking to news men in Onitsha , Mr. Chukwulota , revealed that this initiative was part of his seven areas of focus especially diseases prevention and treatment.
He said that the outreach, which had over 700 traders in attendance, provided medical services including medical consultancy, checkups, vitals, hypertension tests, sugar level tests, and administration of drugs for their ailments .
According to Chukwulota , series of tests conducted which included blood pressure for hypertension, glucose for diabetes, sugar level and malaria.
“They received free blood tests and had their blood pressure checked since, as is frequently remarked, “BP is a time bomb that can blow at any time”
He further explained that the medical personnel were able to diagnose some of the beneficiaries and give them drugs for the ailments ,
He eulogized Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, ‘s developmental strides in all sectors of economy of the state , and extolled his efforts in tackling some projects , as well as giving free education , free pre- natal test and recruitment in various sectors in the state .
Chukwulota expressed his gratitude to the members of Clinical Diagnostics and Medical Teams involved in this outreach , for their efforts to make this outreach a success.
Speaking shortly after the event, the Consultant Physician training , and Acting Public Administrator in Anambra , Dr Umeakunne Innocent Ikechukwu said from the tests conducted, most of the traders are actually not living healthy, as some of their glucose level is very low, while some of their blood pressure level is very high
Dr. Umeakunne advised market men and women to take care of themselves because “good health is wealth.”
According to him, some traders did not like going to the hospital to run tests on themselves because they believe the tests are expensive for them to afford. With this free medical check up, they are all happy and have turned out massively to benefit from it,
In their separate speeches , some of the caretaker committee members of the market , Sir Valve Onyeka , Ifejiofor Chibueze , Chris Umeh and Clement Machi commended the market boss , Mr. Chukwulota Ndubisi for organising such a free medical outreach for four days.
“We are really grateful for what Mr. Chukwulota has done for traders , and thanked him for the initiative ,adding that it was a good opportunity for them to know their health status as the festive period approaches, they said “.
