Anambra Assembly Confirms Sir Stanley Nkwoka, 20 Others As Transition Committee Chairmen

The Anambra State House of Assembly last Thursday at the State House of Assembly confirmed Sir Stanley Nkwoka, KSJI (Ochendo Global) and 20 others, including a woman, as new transition committee chairmen.

Sir Nkwoka would take charge of Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State as the Transition Committee Chairman..

The transition committees are to manage the administration of local government areas for three months in the first instance.

The lawmakers confirmed all the nominees at a plenary session on Thursday, 20th June 2024 after the nominees were screened by the relevant committees of the assembly.

Gov. Chukwuma Soludo sent their names to the House of Assembly for consideration on Wednesday, 19th June 2024.

The only woman among the chairmen is Mrs Amaka Obi, for Idemili South LGA.
