It was all glits and glamour on Saturday, 22nd June 2024 at Kenneth Dike Library Awka, Anambra State as the Awka Literary Society celebrated MD/CEO of Anambra State Signage and Advertisement Agency-ANSAA, Tony Odili Ujubuoñu who clocked a remarkable milestone of 60 years on the 13th of June, 2024.

Odili is a multiple award-winning novelist with different excellent works of fiction and a memoir to his name. His books include “Pregnancy of the Gods,” “Treasure in the Winds,” “Pride of the Spider Clan” and “Crows of the Yellow Stream.” His fifth book is titled, “Sons of a Priest, a non fiction.” He is a co-founder of the Awka Literary Society and the MD/CEO of Anambra State Signage and Advertisement Agency-ANSAA.

The event fired up with awesome line up of events ranging from beautiful poetry renditions and performances from students of different schools, other eye-catching presentations and an outstanding lecture which was delivered by the keynote speaker Uzor Maxim Uzoatu after which a session where Odili Tony Ujubuoñu was interrogated by the ecstatic critical thinking audience on his life journeys and the legacy he has built through the years.

Appreciating his guests , Ujubuonu thanked God for His mercies and grace to attain 60 and in good health, he commended all those who came to celebrate with him, even as he prayed God protect and sustain them all the rest of their lives .

Some literary dignitaries present at the occasion were former Chief Press Secretary to frm. Gov. Willie Obiano Mr. James Eze who is a Co-founder of Awka Literary Society, Mr. Chigozie Amu-Nnadi, Sir Chuka Nnabuife, Former Deputy Chief Press Secretary to Governor Willie Obiano, Mr Emeka Ozumba; Chike Ofili, Associate Professor Ikechukwu Emmanuel Asika, Mr. Anote Ajeluorou, Dr. Chinwuba Chukwurah and a host of other dignitaries who graced the occasion in their elegance.
