Twelve (12) IPOB Activists Regains Freedom

Breaking News:
IPOB records a mindblowing victory, as Twelve activists remanded in Afara Prisons, including aged Mothers regains freedom.
This prodigious victory was ensued, as a Bail application filed by I.C Ejiofor Chambers, was granted by a High Court sitting in Umuahia.
One of the Twelve activists was arrested during the burial of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s Parents on the 14th Of February 2020, whilst eleven others got arrested, during an illegal invasion of an IPOB peaceful assembly in Aba, Abia State on 26th July 2020, against the freedom of assembly and association.
The right is contained in section 40 of the 1999 constitution;
“Every person shall be entitled to assemble freely and
associate with other persons and in particular, he may form or belong to political party, trade
union or any other association for the protection of his interest.
Despite the licit constitution covering IPOB’s right of assembly, the activists were incarcerated and remanded in Prison custody, for exercising same action.
The Bail conditions granted by the Court, was dully perfected, hence the release of applicants.
The activists appreciated the assiduous efforts of IPOB Leadership, in securing their freedom, as they reaffirm support for the Biafra quest.
