The Supreme Court of Nigeria this afternoon declared Governor Samuel Ortom of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as the winner of the election governorship election held last march in the state.
The court threw out the appeal of Mr Emmanuel Jime, candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The judgement, earlier expected to be delivered in the morning, was moved after lawyers to parties adopted their written arguments.
