….Massive Road Construction Continues in Anambra State
Gov Willie Obiano of Anambra State, yesterday, inspected the ongoing construction works on the Eziowele-Umunnachi-Afor Igwe Road.
This particular road is of huge economic importance; hence, the need to reconstruct it after it failed completely, just few years after its construction by the preceding state government due to the use of low quality materials.
Gov Obiano who was obviously happy with the quality of work being delivered by the contractor reiterated the commitment of his administration to doing more with less and promised that the long stretch of road will be completed by May, 2020.
The governor arrived Umunnachi after similar inspection at Onitsha and Umunya where the State Governmet is working very hard to deliver on 11 different roads and the Anambra International Airport dual carriage way, respectively.
