Touching Lives Positively Is One of My Commitments To God, Says Ekwunife

The Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, Uche Ekwunife, has assured that no part of the zone will be left out in her quest for exceptional representation in the National Assembly, saying that touching lives positively is one of her commitments to God.

Ekwunife made this known recently in Awka, during her 8th empowerment programme where different demographics were empowered with tricycles as means of creating an environment for economic and social opportunities for the people.

Ekwunife who thanked God for the privilege of attracting some of the projects and programmes noted that nothing done for the people by those in positions of authority is too much. According to the Senator, being a product of God’s grace inspires her to lift the less privileged and struggling constituents through her various empowerment schemes.

Recall, that the quintessential Senator had in the last quarter of last year facilitated several entrepreneurial development and skills acquisition programmes including ICT training- for women and youths. Gadgets and other handouts were given to participants as a way of promoting self-reliance. She noted that many more will come in the present year.

Speaking to the press, Ekwunife said that her projects and programmes were ways of showing deep appreciation to Anambra Central for standing behind her in the last election. She said that she would do more by special grace of God to reward the people for standing by her at all times.

Talking on, the Igbo-Ukwu born Senator stated that nothing she would give to the people via representation is too much. Ekwunife said that, the more she gets [Empowerment items] the more she gives out to Ndi Anambra Central.

Many recipients had kind words for the Senator for remembering her constituents in this economic contraction caused by Covid-19 pandemic. Summarily, they described Ekwunife as the best thing to have happened to the zone in terms of representation and called her the “MOTHER THERESA OF OUR TIME”.

The Chairman Senate Committee on Science and Technology has promised to attract more developmental projects to the Senatorial District while making more efforts to complete the ongoing ones, she noted.
