The Head of Civil Service of the Federation, Dr Folasade Omolara Yemi-Esan has called on civil servants to join hands with her and work as one family so as to make the Service great.
A press statement signed by Director, Information, Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs.Olawunmi Ogunmosunle reveals that Yemi – Esan made this call when the top management of the Office of Head of Civil Service of the Federation gave her a rousing welcome on her first official day as Head of Civil Service of the Federation yesterday in Abuja.
Dr Yemi-Esan who urged Officers to go beyond the call of duty in the discharge their duties also added that ‘God will give us the grace to carry out this enormous responsibility’.
While thanking God for the opportunity given to her to serve in this capacity, she reiterated that unity is the hallmark of success hence the need for cooperation from everybody.
With the cooperation of everybody, we will not disappoint the President in the discharge of our duties and would leave a lasting legacy for our children”, she said.
President Muhammadu Buhari confirmed the appointment of Dr Folasade Omolara Yemi- Esan as the Head of Civil Service of the Federation on Friday, 28th February, 2020. She has been on acting capacity since Thursday, 19th September, 2019
