30 Potential Boxers Discovered in Enugu Grassroot Boxing Talent Hunt

Not less than 30 student has been discovered and selected for further development in boxing in the just concluded grassroot boxing talent hunt, coordinated by Mazi Ikechukwu Okoronkwo at Nsukka, Enugu State.

Mazi Ikechukwu Okoronkwo, Ex International boxer and sports Ambassador still on the quest to develop young youths in boxing, has taken his grassroot boxing talent hunt to Opi Community high school Nsukka LGA.

After careful grassroot boxing talent hunt exercise conducted by the Nigeria ex International Boxer, Mazi Comr Ikechukwu Okoronkwo, on Friday 19th Sept, 2012, 30 potential boxers with astounding skills were singled out.

The skills displayed by the Sports Ambassador, Mazi Ikechukwu Okoronkwo, left the students speechless that many youths had to climb on the nearby trees to watch Mazi Ikechukwu Okoronkwo Boxing technical skills as they are being impacted to the students of Opi Community in Nsukka LGA.

Among the selected 30 students is Ugwuishiwu Chibuike in Junior Secondary School 2 who according to Mazi Ikechukwu Okoronkwo is the top in the list of discovered boxers for further development.

Teachers and students of Opi community school applauded Mazi Okoronkwo for his efforts to develop youths in boxing.

Opi Community in Nsukka LGA 2021 grassroot boxing talent hunt exercise conducted by Mazi Ikechukwu Okoronkwo on 19/11/21 ended in praise.
