Refugees Commission Seeks EFCC’s Support
The National Commission for Refugees Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons, NCFRMI, has called on the EFCC, to support it in fulfilling its mandate which is catering to the needs of refugees and asylum seekers, internally displaced and stateless persons. The Honourable Federal Commissioner, Imaan Sulaiman Ibrahim made the appeal on Thursday, January 13, 2021, during a courtesy visit to the corporate headquarters of the Commission.
She specifically requested for the assistance of the EFCC in securing office accommodation and opportunity for her staff to train at the Commission’s Academy in Karu, Abuja. Hajia Ibrahim further implored the Commission to factor the plight of refugees and internally displaced persons it her corporate social responsibility considerations.
