Anambra House of Representatives 2023: Those who will return

Anambra state has 11 federal constituencies. The federal constituencies and their present Representatives are;
1. Aguata – Chukwuma Umeoji
Hon Chuma Umeoji has done well. He is a grassroot politician. He will be reelected in 2023.
Aguata is not vacant.
2. Ihiala – Ifeanyi Momah
Hon Ifeanyi Momah has completed the tenure of Okija zone. Ihiala Federal Constituency has 4 zones namely; Ihiala, Uli, Okija and Ebonesie. Ihiala, Okija and Uli have done 8 years each. By 2023, it will be the turn of ndi Ebonesie zone.
So Momah will not return.
Ihiala is vacant
3. Nnewi North/Nnewi South/Ekwusigo – Chris Emeka Azubogu
Hon Chris Azubogu has performed excellently. His boys nicknamed him Mr Project. He is in his 3rd term. I heard he wants to contest for Senate under APC. He should be advised not to waste his money. He will lose.
The infact is that Azubogu will not return.
Nnewi North/Nnewi South/Ekwusigo is vacant.
4. Orumba North/Orumba south – Okwudili Ezenwankwo
Ewepudike na Nanka, it is difficult to rate him. He is not a fire brand lawmaker but he is not completely dull. Ndi Orumba will decide his fate.
Orumba North/Orumba south is hanging.
5. Awka north/Awka south – Sam Chinedu Onwuaso
Hon Sam Onwuaso was conspicuously absent from the Green Chambers until recently. He just woke up and began to do something. I don’t know but it seems he woke up late.
Awka north/Awka south is slightly vacant.

6. Njikoka/Dunukofia/Anaocha – Dozie Nwankwo
Onye Ndozi, DG state, Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo campaign organization. I am not his fan but he seems to know how to get what he wants. I am happy he is going to senate to sought it out with Umeh. Both of them know how to win election from the court. It will be interesting.
Dozie Nwankwo is going to senate.
Njikoka/Dunukofia/Anaocha is vacant.
7. Idemili north/Idemili south – Obinna Chidoka
Fine boy lawmaker. He has no business returning to the House of Reps.
Idemili north/Idemili south is vacant.
8. Onitsha north /Onitsha South – Lynda Ikpeazu
Excellent lawmaker. Less noise, more action.
Onitsha north/Onitsha South is not vacant.
9. Ogbaru – Chuchu Onyema
Hon Chuchu Onyema is only good in party politics. He will not return to the Reps.
Ogbaru is vacant
10. Oyi/Ayamelum – Vincent Ofumelu Ekene
Hon Ofumelu tried his best as a first timer. But he is not popular among his people.
Oyi/Ayamelum is vacant.
11. Anambra east/Anambra west – Chinedu Obidigwe
Hon Chinedu Obidigwe, my friend. His position in the outgoing administration of Obiano may play a role on whether he will be reelected or not.
Anambra east/Anambra west is undecided.
