2023 election: U-AYA Anambra Central consults stakeholders in the region

Anambra Central U-AYA Local Government Chairmen, comprising of 7 local governments, (Awka North & South, Idemili North & South, Njikoka, Anaocha & Dunukofia paid a courtesy visit to a major stakeholder in Anambra Central Hon. Ogochukwu Egolum (Udo Nri) National vice Chairman U-AYA & U-Awa and State Chairman U-AYA to consult on way forward geared towards the upcoming senatorial, house of rep & House of Assembly election in Anambra Central senatorial zone.
Stating the Intention of the group, Hon. Godwin Akabueze U-AYA Chairman Dunukofia said the visit was to bring him up to date on the dominant moves in motion as one of the major stakeholders in Anambra Central as they carry on the legacies of the Founder and National Leader of U-AYA & U-AWA Hon. Chief Benjamin OBIDIGWE MFHR (Akaoma Jide Aku) in sustaining U-AYA Anambra Central as a driving forcing to reckon with in 2023 election.
Adding to the words, Hon. Engr. Ikechukwu Nweke, U-AYA Chairman, Awka South Chapter, said that as an already confirmed formidable group, the intention is to remain so and push for the election of credible candidates in state & federal house election in Anambra Central.
Amongst other U-AYA LG chairmen that spoke were Hon. John Ezebuadi, Anaocha and Hon. Paul Okoye, Njikoka.
Addressing the group, Hon. Ogochukwu Egolum (udo nri), commended the bold step & journey embarked by capacity U-AYA Chairmen of the local governments in Anambra central.
He offered words of encouragement and declared his unalloyed support for the movement. He also charged the group not to relent on this giant stride.
In unionism the group vowed to pull the greatest grassroot mobilization to ensure that the most credible, Youth friendly and reputable candidates who are epitomes of good governance are elected. Meanwhile, consultation of U-AYA stakeholders in Anambra Central Continues.
U-AYA ably led by the Founder & National Leader Hon. Benjamin Chinedu Obidigwe, MHR (Akaoma Jide Aku) is the largest pressure group and grassroot oriented group in Anambra. The doggedness of the group was evident at and pivotal to the credible election of Prof. Charles Soludo as the Governor-electof Anambra.
