SDP Presidential Aspirant, Adebayo Condemns Bandits Attack On Kaduna-Abuja Train

The Presidential aspirant of Social Democratic Party (SDP), Prince Adewole Adebayo, has condemned the Tuesday Abuja-Kaduna Train attack. The attack which he described as shocking and tragic left many dead and others severely injured.

Speaking through his twitter handle, Adebayo said he had frequented the rail route in the past month, noting that the attack is “painful” and “revolting” to his soul.

According to him, “In the last one month, I have travelled on the Abuja-Kaduna rail repeatedly morning and night in the company of my friends and associates.

The tragic bombing of that railway and train with loss of lives, limbs and kidnappings is indeed painful, tragic, I mourn,’ he continued.

Suspected bandit terrorists detonated bombs on the Railtrack of an Abuja-Kaduna train, successfully immobilizing it.

Credible sources on Monday night, confirmed the attack, saying it took place between Katari and Rijana.

According to one of the passengers who confirmed the incident over the phone, the attackers surrounded the train and began shooting sporadically. “All the passengers are currently lying on the floor of the train.

The bandits are shooting sporadically. We are in danger,” said one of the panic-stricken passengers. There were at least 970 passengers on board the train.
