Lockdown: Relief Materials Will Get To States In 24 Hours – Minister

The federal government has said relief materials to the three states affected by the lockdown directive by President Muhammadu Buhari would get to them in 24 hours.
Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management, Sadiya Umar Farouk disclosed this on Tuesday during the ongoing Presidential Task Force on the COVID-19, also known as Coronavirus.
Buhari had on Sunday, ordered the restriction of movement in the FCT, Lagos and Ogun States for 14 days, in a bid to stop the spread of the virus.
According to Farouq, the relief materials, meant for cushioning the effect of the lockdown were already being deployed to the affected states.
