Ex International Boxer Calls For Release of Repentant Inmate From all Custody

There was joy in Enugu Maximum prison when Sports Ambassador Mazi Comr Ikechukwu Okoronkwo held church service with repentant condemned inmate in Enugu Maximum Correctional Center during thanksgiving service for successful conduct of 2021 boxing event in Enugu State.

The service was extended to awaiting trial Inmate and life Sentence inmate.

Recall that Mazi Okoronkwo the coordinator of Grassroot boxing talent hunt programme, concluded the boxing talent hunt for 2021 on Friday 13th May, in which the qualified students were rewarded with a bag of rice and N5,000, each. Including other gifts.

In thanksgiving for a successful event, Mazi Okoronkwo went for a thanksgiving service in which he invited Enugu prison inmates.

All the inmate were excited for having church service with sports Ambassador Mazi Comr Ikechukwu Okoronkwo whom the inmate see as Godly man.

Speaking shortly after the thanksgiving service, Mazi Okoronkwo urged all the prison inmates to be patient as God has plans for them, he further urged Enugu State govt to do everything with its power to release all the prison inmates.
