“We all know globally, counterterrorism is very complex. There are some countries that have fought insurgency and terrorism for close to 50 years. Well, we are not going to wait until 50 year; is that clear?”

He assured the front line troops that, he will be with them until Boko Haram criminals are substantially degraded.
“We will be there with you, no going back once we commence.
“We will be with you in the valleys, at the hills, in the jungle, in the river and so on”, Buratai assured.
“We are here and will make sure that we get ourselves properly equipped, properly motivated and I promise you will have the best of times. And as such, we want the best out of you. We want that commitment. We need that courage and determination,” he urged.
