Shettima And I Won’t Fall Apart Like Obasanjo, Atiku – Tinubu
Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress’s nominee for president, assured Nigerians on Friday that he and Kashim Shettima would not split up by promising to lead an inclusive government.
He claimed that Nigerians would not witness the acrimonious kind of government that former President Olusegun Obasanjo and his running mate, Atiku Abubakar, displayed between 1999 and 2007.
These were the points Tinubu made in his speech at a town hall event for young people in Abuja that Governor Yahaya Bello of the Kogi State had organized under the theme “Nigeria 2023: Setting the Youth Agenda.”
“I and Shettima won’t abuse each other in Wuse market like Obasanjo and Atiku. I don’t want to say this but I can’t help it,” Tinubu said.
The former governor of Lagos State was accompanied at the event held at Chida Hotel by Bello (Kogi), Simon Lalong (Plateau), Abdullahi Ganduje (Kano) ex-governor of Edo State, Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State, Minister of Youths and Sports, Sunday Dare and many chieftains of the APC.
He made a commitment to serve Nigeria “tirelessly, diligently, and honestly” if he wins the election on February 25. Continue reading
