Boxing Talent hunt: Ex international boxer gives bonuses to discovered students
Mazi Ikechukwu Okoronkwo the sports ambassador (Boxing) has said in Enugu that bonuses (Money) will be released to 102
Students discovered and was selected from the 17 LGA,s of Enugu State during Boxing talent hunt training Exercise that ended in December 2022
The young boxers will be invited to Enugu before end of first quarter of this year for official handing over to Enugu State Boxing Association/ Sports Council for further development toward representing Enugu State and National assignment.
The Money that will be given out by Team Mazi Ikechukwu Okoronkwo will be transfered to the students’ bank account
Accordingly it is planned that gift of money and food items will be giving out when the accredited students arrived Enugu for the award ceremony.
The above decision is borne of the facts which is in line with policy of cashless being preached by the Central Bank of Nigeria’s (CBN) Governor.
Mazi Comr Ikechukwu Okoronkwo is the co ordinator of Grass Root Boxing talent hunt project tagged Speaker Enugu State House of Assembly grass root Boxing talent hunt.
Mazi Ikechukwu Okoronkwo successful visited all the 17 LGA,s of Enugu and conducted boxing exercise under International safety Rules
2022 Edition of Grass root boxing Talent hunt exercise was concluded in the 17 LGA,s of Enugu State in December 2022.
