The re-run House of Assembly elections in Kaduna State are ongoing in Giwa West, Kudan, Kauru and Sanga constituencies.
Reports in the affected constituencies, according to newsmen findings, showed that the election is generally peaceful.
In Kauru Local Government Area, the election in two polling units of Kwassam and Kauru East wards witnessed the presence of thugs who planned to disrupt the exercise.
It took the presence of security personnel to restore sanity in the exercise.
In Kauru East ward, Kahuta polling unit, there was also heavy presence of security personnel.
Most of the voters hailed INEC for distributing the election materials and commencing the election on time.
The presence of security personnel in the polling units have helped to ensure peace and conducive atmosphere for eligible voters to cast their votes.
