2021 is an election year of ndị Anambra and Senator Andy Uba MFR has moved to unite the party for possible win of November governorship election
Senator Emmanuel Andy Uba MFR (Igwebuike) told members of the caretaker committee (SWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Anambra State the need for peace, unity and possibility of the party to win the November governorship election in the state if God permits.
Senator Andy Uba, a two time senator and a frontline aspirant of the party pleads for close of ranks and yearn for unity if the party must succeed in it’s quest
Uba stormed the APC party secretariat in Awka yesterday Saturday 16th of January with his entourage, told the executive members the need for unity of purpose, he reassured the party executives that he is not a new member of the party, but one who has been with the party for a long time and has good intention to move the party forward.
Senator Andy Uba maintained that the only way for APC to chase away opposition from the government house was for everyone to keep every grudges and misdoings aside and unity for one possible course
The Senator made his intentions known to the SWC, insisted that APC must look inward to present someone with the experience and capabilities of winning the election for the party, stated that it will be a shameful thing if the party misses it this time again
In his words, I DIDN’T JOIN APC RECENTLY , I HAVE BEEN A MEMBER OF THE PARTY FOR A LONG TIME , I HAVE INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL CONTACTS TO MOVE THE PARTY FORWARD BY THE GRACE OF GOD
He also maintained that “God’s time is the best and he bear no grudges against anyone in the party
He rolled out ideas and told the party executives the reason he visited party secretariat is for all to sit and plan how to win this election come November, asks them not to fight each other internally and support the best candidate to achieve this common goal come November.
He said that APC needs to present a strong and capable candidate who can battle it out with the oppositions and asked party supporters to stay and work together as those known oppositions has more problems than APC.
Chief Basil Ejidike, caretaker chairman of APC in Anambra State in his reaction maintained that the APC must conduct a credible, free and fair primaries in other to galvanize the party against any rancor.
Ejidike said that what happened to our party in the past must have to be avoided, adding that the State Working Committee (SWC) and other Stakeholders of the party would meet soon again to iron the way forward of the party.
