EKWUNIFE IS THE BEST CANDIDATE IN THE GUBER RACE, OGBATULUENYI AMESI DECLARES
The Peoples Choice representative of Anambra Central Senatorial District and frontline Governorship Aspirant for the 2021 Anambra Governorship election under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Uche Ekwunife (Iyom) on Sunday, 10th January, 2021 was hosted by Ichie Edward Chinedu Ezeabasili (Ogbatuluenyi Amesi) at his compound in Amesi, Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State.
Ichie Ezeabasili who is a leading political player in Amesi community and Aguata LGA is also the President and Convener of Anambra Like Minds, a socio-political group focused on promoting the ideals of good governance.
Welcoming the Senator to his compound, Ichie Chinedu Ezeabasili, stated that Ekwunife’s antecedents and current strides in the Senate leave no one in doubt that she is the best Candidate in the Governorship race.
While declaring total and maximum support for the celebrated Federal Lawmaker, Ichie Ezeabasili noted that his group, after an unbiased assessment of all the Governorship Aspirants arrived at the undeniable fact that Senator Ekwunife is the best Candidate to emerge the next Governor of Anambra State. He wished the Senator who she further described as a political asset success in her political pursuit and pledged loyalty and support for her, on behalf of his political group.
Speaking during the gathering, Senator Ekwunife thanked members of the group for their willingness to throw their weight behind her ahead of the upcoming Governorship election. She stated that the leadership mantle of Anambra State cannot be given to those who lack proper understanding of the State’s political and economic challenges haven seen that Anambra is today in dire need of a leader who is empathetic to the yearnings of the masses.
Speaking further, the quintessential Federal Lawmaker called for an unbiased and unemotional approach in choosing a candidate for the Governorship seat of the State. She stated that haven spent years working and serving her constituents in her different representations in the National Assembly and establishing track records that are visible and unparalleled, she believes that she is in the best position to steer the State towards the path of genuine economic growth and development.
