Anambra Govt Distributes Rice Palliatives To Ndi Orumba South

In line with the promise of Anambra State Government to distribute rice palliatives to cushion the effect of subsidy removal, Orumba South Local Government Area took delivery of their 8,724 bags of 10kg rice as promised by the governor, Prof. Charles Soludo.
The distribution of the rice was done by the chairman of the local government palliative committee, Dr Forster Ihejiofor, represented by Orie Casmir Chibuike, who on behalf of the local government, appreciated the governor for his kind gesture and goodwill to the people of Anambra and equally encouraged him to do more, noting that the effect of the subsidy removal is heavy on the people.
The rice was received and confirmed by the Transition Committee Chairman, Orumba South, Hon Neville Uchendu, represented by Hon Tochukwu Obi, Councilor, Eziagu Ward.
