*ANAMBRA LAWMAKER EULOGISES MRS OBIANO CHARITY WORK, PLEADS FOR URGENT SURGICAL ATTENTION ON AWKA NORTH ROADS*
The very empathic wife of the working Governor of Anambra State, *Dr Mrs Ebelechukwu Obiano, Osodieme* continued her Humanitarian Tour of the 21 Local Government Areas of the State, today, as she visited Awka North LGA at the headquarters, Achalla.
Osodieme who has been in the business of providing for the indigent women, physically and mentally challenged, the less privileged and Children, was humbled by the large turn out of ndi Awka North, who had assembled to appreciate her for her humane heart.
*Hon. John Nwokoye,* the honourable House Member, representing the good people of Awka North at the State House, during his speech, thanked Mrs Obiano for her selfless service in the last six years to the needy in the Society.
He said such act of kindness devoid of any political gains should be commended and as well, emulated.
Hon. John Nwokoye, who for the past one year as a lawmaker has become the voice of his people, didn’t fail to bring to the attention of Her Excellency, the deplorable state of Awka North roads.
Said he, _”Your Excellency, you and your husband have done remarkably well in Anambra State, but in the history of Awka North, there is no road started and commissioned in the Local Government, but I strongly believe, His Excellency will break that jinx”._
However, he commended the Governor’s intervention in Mgbakwu road, as he also cited another, the Amansea-urum-isuaniocha road, that is currently receiving attention, according to him.
Conclusively, the people oriented lawmaker supporting CAFE with a live cow, promised Mrs Obiano that the people Awka North will continue to support her and the administration her husband.
Bearing gifts such, rice, school bags and other essentials for the less privileged, indigent women, etc, Osodieme thanked ndi Awka North for the warm reception and unflinching support. Despite the odds, she assured them that their request, as expressed by the lawmaker, will be given the utmost attention its deserve.
She cautioned against rape and other gender based violences, as she also advised on the need for everyone to adhere to COVID19 guidelines because the virus is still ravaging the world.
