Anambra Police Arrest Man for Allegedly Killing Elder Brother Over Minor Dispute

Anambra State Police Command has arrested one Christian Ndubuisi for allegedly murdering his elder brother following a minor disagreement at the 3-3 area of the state.
According to press release issued by SP Tochukwu Ikenga, the Police Public Relations Officer, stated that a police report, operatives from the 3-3 Divisional Headquarters responded swiftly to the incident on February 15, 2025.
SP Ikenga said that Preliminary investigations revealed that during a fight, the suspect broke a bottle and stabbed his elder brother. The victim was rushed to the hospital, where a doctor on duty confirmed him dead.
Reacting to the tragic incident, the Commissioner of Police, CP Ikioye Orutugu, fwc MNIPS PhD, emphasized the need for conflict resolution and anger management, stressing that such disputes should never escalate to violence.
The CP has directed that the case be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Awka, assuring that justice will be served.
