Anambra Police Confirm Killing Of Three Children In Anambra Community By Assailants

The Anambra State Police Command has confirmed the tragic killing of three children in a community within the state.
The incident, which occurred on Saturday 4th January, 2025 has left residents in shock and grief as the police launch an investigation to uncover the perpetrators behind the heinous act.
According to a statement released by the Police Public Relations Officer, Anambra State Command (PPRO), DSP Tochukwu Ikenga, the children were reportedly attacked by unidentified assailants who fled the scene after carrying out the act. The motive behind the killings remains unclear, but law enforcement agencies have vowed to leave no stone unturned in their efforts to apprehend the culprits.
DSP Ikenga also said that the police have intensified security in the affected area to prevent further violence and to reassure residents of their safety.
