Anambra Police Recover Five Stolen Vehicles in Two Weeks, Call on Owners for Verification

The Anambra State Police Command has announced the recovery of five vehicles during a two-week operation targeting criminal activities across the state. The vehicles were recovered during separate onslaught operations aimed at curbing criminal elements.
In a statement released on December 7, 2024, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, the Police Public Relations Officer, listed the recovered vehicles as follows:
1. Toyota Corolla (Red) – Registration Number: ENUGU – AGN 409 AA
2. Unregistered Lexus ES 350 (Ash)
3. Mitsubishi Hilux (Blue) – Registration Number: GDD 440 TJ
4. Lexus ES 330 (Ash) – Registration Number: ACA 551 MA
5. Toyota Highlander Jeep (Grey) – Registration Number: SMK 544 GP
The Command has urged individuals or groups searching for any of the vehicles to visit the Police Public Relations Office in Awka. Claimants are required to present valid proof of ownership for verification and possible retrieval of their vehicles.
SP Tochukwu Ikenga assured the public that the Command remains committed to ensuring the safety of lives and property in Anambra State. He also appealed to the public to provide timely information to the police to assist in combating crime effectively.
