Benzema sets new record after scoring hat-trick in Real Madrid win
Real Madrid striker, Karim Benzema, on Sunday set a new record after scoring a hat-trick in his side’s La Liga 6-0 win over Valladolid.
Benzama’s first-half three goals against Valladolid means the Frenchman is now the first player in Real Madrid history to score 20-plus goals in 11 seasons for the Los Blancos.
The likes of Di Stefano and Raul have scored 20-plus goals in 10 seasons during their time at Real Madrid.
Benzema scored in the 29, 32 and 36 minutes during the tie at Santiago Bernabeu.
His teammates, Rodrygo, Marco Asensio and Lucas Vazquez, also scored for Carlo Ancelotti’s side. Continue reading
