This boxing talent which has taken him round the world was one which he needs to introduce to youths so that crime rates will be reduced and so many nagative focus of youths will be directed in a positive way.
Mazi Okoronkwo who has won a gold medal in both local and international level in boxing observed that some youths are useless today because they never had opportunities to showcase themselves and the talent they are made up of.
Mazi Okoronkwo told BCA Umuahia this morning that his motivation to ensure that this project is being brought to completion is not coming from the government of Abia State as he is the one sponsoring this project, rather his motivation comes from exquisitely and irresistible talents almost about to be waisted which he has discovered in some of these youths and the warm welcome, interests and appreciations he has gotten from the people.
For him, everyone has a talent which requires opportunities to be laid out. He concluded that this grassroot boxing talent hunt project which for now is sponsored by him may last upto a year so that he can also give this fair opportunity to other youths outside Abia state in other states throughout the federation.
Recall that CHRYSORA MEDIA has reported that Mazi Okoronkwo so far has recorded a huge success in this grassroot boxing talent hunt project including training of Shedrack Ngwu who is about to be signed into contract in one U.S. boxing firm as a future world heavyweight champion.
BCA radio prays for Mazi Okoronkwo for success in his project and appreciates his efforts towards the success of this talent hunt project in which him alone sponsors financially as the interview was brought to an end.
