Following series of attempts by faceless individuals and impersonators to cast aspersions on the person of Chief Kanayochukwu Okoye (Ichie Omekannia N’Okodu); CEO JUKOK Company Limited using an unknown social blog , a registered group under the aegis of Umuoji Patriotic Citizens has come to the defence of their illustrious member and a philanthropist per excellence of Umuoji kingdom who has positively impacted on the lives of thousands of Umuoji indigenes.

According to the group, JUKOK Construction Boss, Chief Kanayo Okoye (Ichie Omekannia) remains the people’s choice, even as they called those behind the hatchet job faceless Jobbers, describing the online publication as false, malicious and laughable.

In a statement signed and made available to newsmen by the Publicity Secretary of Umuoji Patriotic Citizens (U. P. C),Mr Ikechukwu Onwuezobe (Iron gate),it said that the online publication was a calculated attempt by mischief makers and haters of Umuoji to tarnish the hard-earned reputation of Chief Kanayo Okoye (Ichie Omekannia) urging the general public especially indigenes of Umuoji both at home and in diaspora to discountenance the infamous and mischievous report. Furthermore, the noble Patriotic Citizens of Umuoji through her Publicity Secretary also advised ndi Umuoji to disassociate themselves from a failed candidate in the Igweship election whose records have been marred by voodism, fetishism, oracle consultations, divinations, diabolical incantations and mischief making.
