Court Affirms Okonkwo As Authentic Anambra SDP Chairman

Anambra State High court sitting in Awka yesterday struck out a suit challenging the election of Dr Webster Okonkwo as the Anambra State Chairman of the Social Democratic Party.

By that singular act of the court, it declared Dr. Webster Okonkwo as the authentic and duly elected chairman of the Social Democratic Party in Anambra state.

A press statement signed by Dr. Webster Okonkwo and made available to our correspondent in Awka shortly after the verdict of the court revealed that the party in its September 7, 2018 state Congress elected a 34-member State Executive Committee of the Social Democratic Party  led by Dr Webster Okonkwo until 2020.
