Court reinstates prof Greg Ibe as Abia APGA governorship candidate
The Supreme court has just delivered judgement and reinstated Prof Greg Ibe as the governorship candidate of APGA for Abia state.
The high court had ordered that there was over voting in the primary election of Abia state guber, ordered for a fresh primary election to be conducted within 14 days.
At the Court of Appeal the Court held that the trial Court was wrong to have ordered for a fresh election when it wasn’t asked by any party. The Appellate court then ordered that APGA will not have any candidate in the Governorship election.
But today, the Supreme Court has reversed the judgements and reinstated Prof Greg Ibe to participate in the March 11 governorship election in Abia state.
