Focus On Good Governance First, Than Rushing Into IPOB Sit-At-Home Case – Ex International Boxer Advises Soludo
Nigerian Ex International boxer Mazi Comr Ikechukwu Okoronkwo has advised the newly sworn in Governor of Anambra State Prof Soludo to concentrate first in good governance rather than rushing to Monday’s Sit-At-Home case which is pubic Justice.
Recall that Gov Soludo of Anambra State on Friday mandated every civil servant and residents of Anambra to violet the Monday IPOB sit-at-home order and go for their various businesses
Reacting to this on Friday, Mazi Okoronkwo through a message sent to Chrysora Media urged the Governor to focus first on good governance putting in mind that the IPOB Monday Sit-at-home is a quest for public justice.
His message reads
“From my findings in the grass root while Conducting boxing talent in rural Areas the south east Geo political Zone felt marginalized and wishes to call the attention of other Nigerians over injustice calculated to have being done to them when it’s come to National issues and political office
“The handling of the case of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and the State of affairs are seen as intimidation by many South East Nigerians, particular the Igbos, instead of the ruling party to be sensitive in handling the state of affairs with a view of political undertone of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu struggle for equity and fairness. The FGN became tough and the response triggered public deplomatic response in street action as a sanction against the FGN using Monday Sit at home to draw the attention of FGN to release Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and also give what is due to South East people when it’s comes to political office and dividend of Democracy”
“My above research has made me believe that president Buhari’s administration in their wisdom can settle the case peacefully rather the one a State Governor, because it is Geo political regional matter.
“Therefore our dear Anambra State Governor should first study the problem and advise the president of the country rightly for the interest of Nation building”
