Ex International Boxer Pledges Support As Barr Peter Chigozie Okonkwo Declares Interest For Igboeze Senatorial Election
The Ex International Boxer and Sports Ambassador, Mazi Comr Ikechukwu Okoronkwo has pledged to support Barr. Peter Chigozie Okoronkwo as he boldly declared interest in running for senatorial election for Nsukka/Igboeze Federal Constituency, Enugu state come 2023.
Mazi Okoronkwo stated this in his resident in Enugu on Thursday through a voice call with Chrysora Media correspondent.
Speaking to Chrysora Media correspondence, Mazi Okoronkwo said
“While conducting Grassroot Boxing talent hunt exercise in rural and urban areas in the LGA,s of South Eastern Zones of our Country, i have been monitoring the characters of the villages and political stakeholders in the area of human capacity building and interest to empower the youth. From my finding and dealings at Nsukka/Igbo-eze South Federal Constitency, i found a good man Barr Peter Okonkwo who love his people and today he has declared Interest to run for Office of the House of Representatives”
“I sincerely suggest that PDP should give him ticket so that they will get more support from his side for 2023 Election. We will support him as a Humanitarian/Missionary worker”
Mazi Okoronkwo during the cause of his discussion with our correspondent, made a shocking revelation about Barr. Peter Okonkwo, he said “he is our secret partner that made grassroot boxing talent hunt exercise in Enugu State to be easy for us. He has fear of God and He loves his people. He is the like of former South Africa President, Freedom Fighter Nelson Mandela, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu the Fighter for Peace and equity for the people of South East Nigeria”
Speaking further on the leadership qualities of Barr Peter Okonkwo, he said “he is a very good Man and a man of vision. His victory will attract more federal presence to the people of Nsukka/ Igboeze Federal Constitency”
Barr. Peter Chigozie Okonkwo is the Current Commissioner of LGA’S in Enugu State.
In a short video evidence where Barr Okonkwo made his intentions known to contest for senatorial election, Barr Okonkwo maintained that he must make sure that the rights of the people are given to them and as at when due.
