Nigeria Ex International Boxer call on FGN/NBC to lift the ban and apologise to Channels TV
The NBC ban/fine of N5M against Channels for the interview done in view of Imo State crisis is against the spirit of Fair Hearing .
We, the Nigeria public demands that media work should be done in line with the spirit of fair hearing for the interest of Justice
Therefore NBC ban against Channels TV for doing a professional work in a case. which is to get information from the accused of high profile /political/ felony case is not for the interest of justice as Democracy demands.
As Nigeria Ex International Boxer and human right Activist Mazi Ikechukwu Okoronkwo call on FGN/NBC to immediately withdraw the Ban/Fine of N5M and apologize to Channels for the interest of promotion of dilegent in service.
Tax payers money should not be used against the innocent for personal gains
