Flooding : Nigerian Naval Outpost Onitsha Donates Relief Materials To Displaced Persons in Anambra Community

The Nigeria Naval Officers Outpost in Ogbaru ,led by their Commander, Navy Captain , GB Osuobeni lent a helping hand to the needy by donating some relief materials , including food items to the people displaced by flood at Odekpe Community in Ogbaru LGA of Anambra State.

Navy Captain Osuobeni who sympathized with the victims, pledged to support them in any way he could, in order to reduce their suffering and lauded the enthusiasm and passion exhibited by the Anambra State Government led by Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo and his Deputy, Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim and other high spirited individuals who have intervened through various ways to alleviate the sufferings of the victims.

He also urged them to ensure that the relief materials are distributed conscientiously to people affected by the flood

Adressing, The Ogbaru Flood Management Chairman , Chief Ben Nwasike , whom representing the chairman of Ogbaru Local Government , received the items on behalf of the community expressed joy and extreme gladness at this act which symbolizes the unique Command Style of the Commander and his love for the community and called on well meaning individuals to follow the example of the Nigerian Navy to send relief materials to flood victims.
