Grass root Boxing Talent Hunt: Ex Int’l Boxer Extends Training To Ukwa West, Abia State

Team Mazi Ikechukwu Okoronkwo extends Abia State Grass Root boxing talent hunt exercise on 21/06/21 to Student of Asa Community High School in Ukwa West LGA.

This exercise which was co ordinated by Abia State Sports Ambassador Mazi Ikechukwu Okoronkwo as a way of giving back to the society in view of preparation for further development against National Youth Games (under 15) eliminations, lead to the discovery of Anita Benjamin from Oil Community in Ukwa West LGA Abia State Nigeria among other students boxers for future National youth Games eliminations.

In commendation address Both the Chairman of Ukwa West LGA, The PS Ministry of youth and Sports Development Abia State, the Director of sports Abia State Sports Council and the 2 Principals in the selected Grassroot boxing talent hunt exercise Center in Ukwa West LGA applauded the ruggedness of Abia State Sports Ambassador for hard work toward the successful Monday exercise despite heavy rain fall in the oil Community.

Many students were discovered and trained on balancing and movement. Namely Benita Benjamin, Favour ogwo.Blessed Chukwuma, Happiness Friday, Blessing Dike among others.
