Hon Ibezi, Ochiagha Idemili emerges candidate of APC
Hon Ibezi Ifeanyichukwu has emerged the candidate of APC for House of Reps, Idemili north and south federal Constituency.
He polled 111 votes in a primary election adjudged by party stalwarts as a true reflection of the choice of members of the party and her delegates.
Hon. Ibezi won 92.5% votes of the 120 accredited voters in an open ballot system that was agreed to by the aspirant, delegates and umpires. The election, held at Ifite Primary School, Nkpor Uno, Idemili North, Anambra State was witnessed by officials of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), the media and other civil society observers.
In his appreciation message, Hon. Ibezi thanked members of the APC in the federal Constituency for their unanimous decision to chose him as their candidate for the February 2023 House of Representatives elections. He reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring the party’s victory at the polls, stressing the need for every one to hit the ground running with grassroot evangelization.
In their separate remarks the LGA party Chairmen of the party in Idemili North and South LGAs, Chief Charles Obadike and Chief Sunday Obidigbo said that the choice of Hon. Ifeanyichukwu Ibezi by the party as her candidate was informed by the calibre of his person and his strides in infrastructural and human capital development across Idemili. They promised to ensure that the party would put in the work that would ensure victory at the polls.
As the APC flag bearer, Ibezi would bank on the dividends of his momentous five months stay at the House of Representatives in 2019 while seeking for the support of Ụmụ Idemili.
Hon. Ibezi enjoys support across different political parties in Idemili North & South Federal Constituency. He is seen as a unifier with deep grassroot penetration and a performer with a lot of infrastructural and human capital development to speak for him in the Constituency.
