Ikemba Amangwu of Arochukwu calls on President Tinubu to make move on inmate swap with UK government for national peace and unity

The Ikemba Amangwu of Arochukwu kingdom, Mazi Comr Ikechukwu Okoronkwo who is also the Nigerian ex international boxer, has called on President Tinubu to make moves on inmate swap with UK government for purpose of national peace and unity.

In a press release he made on Tuesday in his resident in Enugu, Mazi Okoronkwo said

“I am using this medium to advise Nigeria Government to adopt political solutions for release of Former Deputy senate President Senator Ike Ekweremmadu who is serving jail terms in United Kingdom through exchange or swap with Mazi Nnamdi Kanu a British Citizen in Nigeria detention custody”

“Since mazi Nnamdi Kanu is a United kingdom citizen and is in detention in Nigeria, Nigerian Government may consider to negotiate with British Government on exchange of those in custody in Nigeria for those in jail in Britain”

“I advise that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu as British Citizen Kanu can be swap or exchange with Senator Ike Ekwemmadu who is a Nigerian citizen”

“The Nigeria public will applaud this political solution as good leadership creativity”

Mazi Okoronkwo hereby urged the president to take this creative political steps to enhance peace and harmony in the state.

Mazi Okoronkwo bagged the merit award/title of Ikemba Amangwu from his hometown in Arochukwu, Abia State for his dedication and humanitarian impacts to the community and Nigeria at large.
