The main hall of Sir Kashim Ibrahim, Kaduna was filled to capacity as prominent guests from all walks of life gathered to celebrate the inimitable Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir.El-Rufai.
Instead of just having a jamboree, Governor El-Rufai used the platinum occasion to launch a book “THESE TIMES: Selected Speeches of Nasir El-Rufai.
The book was reviewed by Oxford Academic, Prof. Wale Adebanwi while Mr Dan Okeke who represented UBA Chairman, Mr Tony Elumelu performed the officially presentation of the book amidst warm applause from everyone.
In his remarks, Chairman of the occasion, Dr. Mohamed Mahmood Abubkar praised the celebrator for his principles and
commitment to development. Other speakers at the occasion, Ooni Ogunwusi and Governor Fayemi also poured encomiums on Governor El-Rufai.
The intellectually-stimulating event was attended by such personalities as Emir of Kano, Governor Godwin Obaseki, Kanu Nwankwo, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, Otunba Niyi Adebayo, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, Mrs Zainab Ahmed, Senator Ifeanyi Ubah and Yusuf Bala.
In the course of the event, guests were treated to lovely meals, drinks and great entertainment.
