2023: Igbo Aspirants Expecting Presidential Ticket From APC Are Day-Dreaming – Ex International Boxer

Mazi Ikechukwu Okoronkwo, Ex International Boxer and Ambassador for sports in boxing has taken out time to analyze the possible levels of disappointment which Igbo Presidential aspirants who joined APC for the quest of power will receive both from the party and from the igbos whom they have betrayed.
Mazi spoke to the press on this issue on Thursday at his residence in Enugu.
“Considering that i am in sports administration, it has become necessary to address one of our country’s problem which has to do with process of producing political leaders” he began
The Ex International boxer stated “Simple circulation from what is happening between National Assembly and the Executive clearly demostrated that there could be an interest of power that is wished to be protected, particularly to protect the Zonal system and choice of person”
Speaking further, Mazi Okoronkwo said “Consensus or indirect party primary will clearly favour aspirants like Armed Tinubu to emerge as APC flag bearer in 2023 presidential election”
“Though the South East APC members will resist it, he continued, but Umahi and others can not do anything about it rather than to stay in line at the back of Winners”
“Even when we in the South East are crying over the killings and detention of many outspoken individuals from the zone that try to expose wrong doings against the Igbo’s’, it is regrettable to hear that an Igbo man is aspiring to be APC flag bearer which, I, Mazi comr Ikechukwu Okoronkwo the Sports Ambassador has calculated as Mission Impossible considering the long planned Zoning system structure by the founding fathers of APC”
“Any Igbo man who has interest to contest for 2023 presidency election must use other political party platform that is not APC because APC can never give Presidential tickets to an Igbo man” he emphatically said.
“If it is possible it could have been Rocas Okoroha but same APC power stakeholders have shattered Sen Okorocha’s plan with what is happening in IMO State now as part of it to the extend that attack of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is suspected to have come from Imo State political War against 2023 Election”

On the other hand, the Sports Ambassador continued, “APC will frustrate Sen Orji Uzor Kanu presidential dream when the time comes. All the South East political leaders that used the peoples’ mandate to get to office and later switched to APC to seek for higher power against the will of their people will at last blame themselves for disappointing their people”

Mazi Comr Ikechukwu Okoronkwo calculated that days of ignorance have passed, many Nigerians are now aware of the system of Democracy.
“It has been observed that the quality of any leadership can only be determined by how good the people governed are living”
Mazi Comr Ikechukwu Okoronkwo concluded by saying that the above should be of a great concern to everyone that is educated or informed.
