Mother’s Day: I Have Improved Provision Of Basic Health Care Services For Our Mothers – Uzodimma

The love and care of maternity transcends beyond the moral upbringing of children, into a society that offers peaceful coexistence hence, the continued celebration of our mothers.

My administration has adequately improved on the provision of basic healthcare services to our mothers thereby, reducing maternal mortality rate in our society and as well, the rolling out of Women Empowerment Programs.

In my speech after the Holy Mass today, I condemned, once again, the activities of illegal crude oil bunkering within our territory. However, with the improved Ebube Agu, our Vigilante Group, and a synergy with the security agencies, our approach against banditry has been beefed up for maximum safety of lives and properties.

Graciously, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has agreed to resume, tomorrow, the suspended Continous Voter Registration Exercise at the three affected Local Government Areas in the State. Our right to vote remains the only means of contribution towards national polity.

I encourage Ndi Imo nile to avail themselves, this opportunity, by registering with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) as we welcome another General Election season.

Happy Mothers Day to our mothers.
