Nigerian Man Abandoned In The Street Of India Returns To Nigeria
…..VISITS ANAMBRA SOUTH SENATOR; SEN. IFEANYI UBAH AT THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY.
…HANDED OVER TO HIS SISTER; UJU UDOH (NEE:ARINZE)
To the glory of God, Mr. Arinzechi Anthony from Otolo Nnewi who was beckoning for help on the streets of India has been rescued, given medical treatment in India and is presently back to Nigeria courtesy of Senator Ifeanyi Ubah’s benevolence.
Upon his arrival in Nigeria, Mr. Arinzechi was warmly received by Senator Ifeanyi Ubah at the Anambra South Senate Office at the National Assembly and was subsequently handed over to his Sister; Uju Udoh ( nee Arinze).
This is one of the numerous interventions by Senator Ifeanyi Ubah geared towards helping Ndi-Igbo in the diaspora. It would be recalled that Mr. Nonso Onyeguilim a.k.a Dimkpa who used to be the Nnewichi vigilante chairman got struck by a terrible illness that almost had his leg amputated but was also sponsored on an all expense paid medical trip to India by Senator Ifeanyi Ubah. Today, Mr. Nonso can walk with both legs to the glory of God.
It is also on record that Senator Ubah intervened and rescued about 50 Igbo youths who were detained in Chinese Prisons before he even became a Senator and facilitated their return to their fatherland as free men.
In the words of Woodrow Wilson: “there is no higher religion than service to humanity and to work for the common good is the greatest creed.” This is the most appropriate way to understand a man who never looks back and continues to embark on good causes in order to improve the lives of his fellow human beings.
Senator Ubah’s deeds transcends leaving a legacy, it is living forever. Not only will history echo and re-echo his exploits but generations yet unborn will be reminded of his benevolent deeds.
