Nnamdi Kanu Arrest: British Authority To Discuss With Nigeria
The British high commission has said it’ll engage the Nigerian government over the rearrest of Nnamdi Kanu, chief of the Indigenous people of Biafra, IPOB.
Dean Hurlock, a spokesperson of the British high commission, disclosed that the commission is “within the process of looking for clarification” from the federal government over Kanu’s rearrest.
In the message, Hurlock stated the United Kingdom foreign, Commonwealth and development office “stands equipped to provide consular help”, TheCable reports.
The IPOB chief, who has a British passport was arrested with the aid of Nigerian security operatives and extradited to Nigeria on Sunday.

Kanu was extradited to continue his trial before the Justice Binta Nyako-led Federal excessive court docket sitting in Abuja.
