Nnewi Tragedy: CP Orutugu Approves Burial of Three Children Found in Fridge as Police Await Medical Report

Nnewi, Anambra State – The Commissioner of Police, CP Ikioye Orutugu, fwc MNIPS PhD, has authorized the bereaved family of the three children found lifeless in a fridge in Nnewi to proceed with their burial.
According to the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Tochikwu Ikenga this decision, he stated, is to help ease their grief while investigations into the heartbreaking incident continue.
CP Orutugu reassured the family and the public of the Police Command’s commitment to swift action if necessary, pending the results of the medical examination.
He emphasized that the Anambra State Police Command is working diligently to uncover the circumstances surrounding the tragic deaths.
The Police Command urged Ndi Anambra and the general public to remain patient and cooperate with investigators as they strive to ensure justice for the victims.
