As part of the activities lined up for the inauguration of NUMTEN Anambra State Council, the Chairman of National Union of Market Traders Employers of Nigeria (NUMTEN), Anambra State Council, Prince Comrade Nnamsom Nwafor-Orizu alongside the Secretary of the Union, Comrade Ikechukwu Ugwuoke Great, on Tuesday, 8th October 2024, visited the Comptroller of Labour and Employment, Oji-Ogbuehi Bernadine in her office in Awka, Anambra State Capital.

Speaking shortly after arriving the Comptroller’s office, the NUMTEN Boss thanked her for warmly receiving the leadership of the Union, saying that the NUMTEN would assist her in achieving the set objectives of her office, noting that they have the personnel to drive any noble and noteworthy agenda.

Nwafor-orizu while addressing the Comptroller informed her about the official inauguration of NUMTEN Anambra State Council to be held in Awka and appealed to her to attend.

Receiving the NUMTEN officials, Oji-Ogbuehi appreciated them for coming to identify with her, emphasizing that he would do everything within her powers to ensure that they succeed in their onerous task of sanitizing and adding more values to the markets, even as she promised to give the Union all the needed support and encouragement.

It would be recalled that Prince Comrade Nwafor-Orizu and his team recently visited the State’s Head of Service (HoS) , Barr. Okwy Igwegbe, mni as a way of familiarising with her and as well intimate her about the workings of the most sought after Union in Nigeria today.
