Obaseki will take Edo to a higher level- PDP

The Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo State, Chris Nehikhare, has said Governor Godwin Obaseki will reset Edo for a brighter, better and more compassionate future.
He spoke yesterday in Benin in an interactive session with reporters.
Nehikhare said: “In PDP, we will not play politics with the future of Edo State and its people. We will work to get it right.
“We have taken the first step in the right direction by electing Obaseki as our governorship candidate. Although I trust his instincts and believe in his ability and capacity, we cannot do it on our own. We need the support of everyone.
“Edo people are yearning for a government party that is decent, reasonable, sensible, innovative and compassionate. This is the government and party we are going to build, and we want everyone to join us.
“United and determined, we will go forward together, dedicated to the ultimate and undeniable greatness of Edo State.
“On September 19, Obaseki and his running mate, Philip Shaibu, will be victorious during the crucial governorship election.”
The PDP spokesman said Obaseki would ensure service delivery.
He enjoined the electorate to vote for him.
