Ocha brigade arrest drug syndicates, dangerous criminal gang terrorizing Onitsha, Anambra
On Thursday 21st September, 2023, a joint enforcement team of Operation Clean & Healthy Anambra – OCHA Brigade apprehended over fourteen persons terrorizing the commercial City of Onitsha and it environs.
According to report on their Facebook Page, the suspects include a drug syndicate using army camouflage to harass and permeate trouble and all form of criminality within Onitsha metropolis. Other of their members were arrested for forcefully extorting money from motorist and some innocent citizens.
Those arrested confessed to stealing and snatching of phones and valuables from commuters, while also selling hard drugs and gathering intelligence for their counterparts.
