Olatunji Disu Becomes Rivers New Police Commissioner
The Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, has appointed CP Olatunji Disu as the new Commissioner of Police for Rivers Command.
Chrysora gathered that Disu replaced CP Nwonyi Emeka, barely three days after Rivers youths demanded Emeka’s redeployment in a protest, following reports of threats to the State Governor, Siminalaye Fubara.
Disu is currently the Principal Staff Officer of the IGP and immediate past head, Intelligence Response Team of the Nigeria Police Force. Seven others have also been redeployed to various commands.
