OPINION: Who Are The Real Enemies Of Nigeria

Let’s put the protest in perspective: Who are the real enemies of Nigeria
Governors have become so tyrannical that no one dare criticize them while Buhari has made himself so democratic that he takes those that even wish him death as peaceful protesters. That is why they can plot to overthrow Buhari by hijacking the peaceful protest were some legitimate demands of youths were made to stop police brutality.
You could see them openly boasting that they will pull the Buhari’s Government down. Tell me one State Governor that can stand a protest were protesters damage things and insist that they will only leave the streets when the Governor resigns. Hoodlums amongst them are still brazen in looting the country with some records of deaths and violence.
Yet touch one of those looting and killing, they will shout abuse of rights as some did when Gana the Benue killer rogue was killed. All they want is to provoke Buhari to anger so that they will blackmail him before some compromised elements in the international community. Their intent is to incite Buhari to action just to name tag him a tyrant. Some of those that fueled crisis that led to killing of people are still waiting for Buhari to apologise to them despite the untoled havoc they have caused.
The progressive youths are wiser now. They are happy with legitimate demands of the youth while calling for more youths inclusion, an end to police brutality and a more transparency in governance by the Buhari’s led Government. We will dialogue and engage with the President through lawful and legitimate means. We will never fall pray to enemies of Nigeria that have links with some international community that want to balkanize Nigeria
